Neil Prendeville is about as synonymous with Cork as Murphy's Brewery or Tripe and Drisheen. Love him or loathe him you can't ignore this broadcaster who's talk back radio programme appeals to the great people of Cork as well as some curious other folk. A true Corkonian, he did make an attempt to fly the nest in the late 80s when he moved to Canada where he worked in TV and radio until the lure of white pudding ,Murphy's Irish Stout and the English Market soon drew him home where he's been livening things up on 96FM ever since. Prendeville is a natural on radio having all the vital attributes, particularly the face! In addition to radio, he also writes a regular column in the Cork Independent Newspaper and a regular restaurant review in Business Munster - a task he describes as a labour of love!
